A committee is working to update Old Town’s city history.
This year marks Old Town’s 175th birthday; as part of the city’s celebration, a history from 1965, “Old Town, Maine The First 125 years 1840-1965” is being updated, with events from the past 50 years added.
Suggestions are being sought for this update; if you have any ideas, please contact Library Director Cindy Jennings atcindy.jennings@old-town.org or 827-3972.
The deadline for suggested additions is June 15.
