East Auburn right on top

East Auburn remained atop the standings with two recent victories in Auburn Suburban Major Baseball.

East Auburn nipped Austin Associates 11-8. Christian Frey led East Auburn with three hits. Kamden Masselli and Jared Bernard each contributed a pair of singles for the victors. Campbell Cassidy picked up East Auburn’s other hit. Campbell Cassidy pitched three strong innings, while brother Will Cassidy notched the save in relief.

Jake Jackson led Austin with a pair of hits. Finn Thistle and Leon Salmon also added hits for Austin. East Auburn then improved to 6-2 with an extra inning victory over second place Pepsi 10-7. Campbell Cassidy and Kamden Masselli each had three hits to lead the victors. Braden Paradie, Jared Bernard. and Kade Masselli also added two hits apiece for East Auburn. Christian Frey and Caiden Childs each had a hit in the winning effort. Pepsi got a big home run from Landon Morissette to tie the game in the fifth inning and send things to extra innings. Patrick Anthoine had two hits for Pepsi, while Austin Sellinger and brother Dylan Sellinger had one hit apiece for Pepsi. Will Cassidy pitched five strong innings in relief to pick up the victory.

East Auburn keeps rolling

East Auburn improved to 7-2 on the season with a hard fought 6-4 victory over Hardy Wolfe & Downing in Auburn Suburban Major Baseball action.

Campbell Cassidy picked up the win on the mound for East Auburn, while brother Will Cassidy pitched two scoreless innings in relief to earn the save. Kamden Masselli also contributed a solid inning on the rubber sandwiched in between the Cassidys. Campbell Cassidy, Masselli, and Cameron Langis all had two hits in the winning effort. Jared Bentley knocked in a big insurance run for East Auburn in 5th inning, stroking a single to left field. Braden Paradie, Christian Frey and Will Cassidy also contributed hits for East Auburn. Noah Harkins and Cameron Langlois each had two hits for Hardy Wolfe & Downing. Wyatt Morse also picked up a hit for Hardy Wolfe. Hardy Wolfe dropped to 3-6 on the season.
