PARIS — Variety and spectacle come to South Paris on Saturday, July 25 when Celebration Barn Theater presents its two annual “Big Barn Shows” featuring performers from around the world.
“The Big Barn Family Show” at 2 p.m. is a one-hour matinee designed to introduce younger audiences to a wide variety of performers and styles. “From the eye-popping visuals of Fred Garbo’s Inflatable Theater to the stunning Brazilian flair of Alberto Maranhão Theater Dance Company, this show is a fun mix of comedy, skill and spectacle,” Amanda Huotari, Celebration Barn’s artistic director.
For “The Big Barn Spectacular” at 8 p.m., the cast expands to include The Wondertwins, a Boston-based hip-hop, mime, and creative dance duo who are six-time winners at the Apollo Theatre and Bob Berky, an Obie award-winning physical comedian Leland Faulkner, Art Moves Dance Ensemble, and additional guests from across the country will also share the stage, making it one of the biggest shows of Celebration Barn’s season.
Additionally, audiences at the Big Barn Spectacular will have the final chance to bid on silent auction items to benefit Celebration Barn. Visit www.CelebrationBarn.com for auction details.
