I’m writing to recommend Megan Parks for Lewiston School Committee at-large in November’s election.
Parks is the only candidate for School Committee who is a product of Lewiston public schools, which gives her a perspective no other candidate has. As the mother to two children currently enrolled in Lewiston schools, she also has the perspective of what has changed since she was a student and what changes still need to be made.
Those are the types of experience that truly matter.
She is dedicated, persistent, passionate and motivated, and goes above and beyond with integrity in all that she does. She can be quiet and reserved when appropriate but isn’t afraid to fiercely advocate for what is right when needed.
In short, Megan Parks signifies all of what Lewiston is and what Lewiston aims to be. I wouldn’t want anyone else representing my children, my children’s teachers, or my community.
