In the past year, volunteers have provided more than 15,000 hours of service at a variety of volunteer activities focused on promoting the health and comfort of patients and visitors, including: acting as patient greeters, chaplains, patient escorts, providing clerical support in the birthplace and human resources, serving as patient advisers at practices, helping with Mended Hearts, laundry, food and nutrition services, the Thrift Shop and pet therapy.
