RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Constance “Connie” Blaisdell was celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m., at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were; before the Mass, “Heaven’s Now My Home” by Libby Allen; “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Hosea,” “Amazing Grace” and “I Heard the Voice of Jesus.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Angie Arsenault. The New Testament was proclaimed by Jennifer Blakeney. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Jennifer Blaisdell. Offertory gifts were presented by Karissa Panzino and Jaime Gosselin. Personal reflections were shared by Wayne Buckingham and a poem was read by Kristen Bisson.
Pallbearers were Jim Drapeau, Karl Greenman, Brian Daigle, Ryan Gosselin, Ian Hibbert and Alan Daigle. A reception catered by SG Thibault Funeral Home was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall.
Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
