WEST PARIS — The annual town meeting will open at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, in the gymnasium at Agnes Gray School.

Residents will elect one selectman, assessor and overseer of the poor, one director for School Administrative District 17; and one water district trustee. All positions are three-year terms.

Voters will decide on a yard sale ordinance. The initiative would limit private yard sales to no more than four consecutive days. People holding the yard sale would be required to remove all signs no later than six hours after the sale closes, and a no-cost permit for the yard sale would have to be obtained from the Town Office.
