BANGOR — Spring is here and warm weather will follow soon! Along with temperatures over 36 degrees, we will be seeing the dreaded deer tick, the vector of Lyme disease, in abundance. MaineLyme is Maine’s only 501 C3 dedicated to reducing the incidence of tick borne diseases in Maine, through awareness, education, prevention, and advocacy.
The fifth annual TEE OFF FOR LYME is taking place on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Hermon Meadows Golf Club. This is a major fundraiser for MaineLyme and a fun day for golfers of all skill levels. There are prizes, gifts, a silent auction, t-shirts and a barbcue lunch for participants. Cost is $65 per person.
MaineLyme is looking for individual golfers, teams, and sponsors for this fun and worthy event. There are three sponsor levels in addition to sponsoring a team or individuals for your business. We have had great community and business support in the past, and are looking to increase our presence this year. MaineLyme is happy to receive items to use as prizes and auction items.
