RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph M. Salatino of Andover was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius & St. John’s Church, Rumford with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant. Altar Assistant was Bernard Poirier. Organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Ave Maria”, “Amazing Grace”, “Hosea” and “On Eagle’s Wings”. The first reading from the letter of Paul to the Romans from the Old Testament was presented by Jeff Gilbert. The second reading from the first letter of John from the New Testament was presented by Stacey Gilbert. The eulogy was presented by Cindy Giroux. Pallbearers were Mike Chaisson, Denny Chaisson, Greg Chaisson, Billy Gilbert, Brian Mawhinney and Chris Salatino. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Greg Dube. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed at the Sons of Italy Hall in Rumford. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin Street, P. O.
