RANGELEY — “Steel Magnolias,” by Robert Harling, will be presented Thursday, and Friday, Saturday and Monday, July 28, 29, 31, and Aug. 1 at 7 p.m., at RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St.
Alternately hilarious and touching, the play met with immediate critical and popular acceptance. Concerned with a group of gossipy southern ladies in a small-town beauty parlor, “Steel Magnolias” has been produced on stages around the world, on Broadway, for TV and on film.
The cast includes Skyela Burgess, Ariel Clinch, Joanne Dunlap, Adrian Heatley, Marie Hyfield, and Linda Wendelken. Anne Crump is director, Millie Hoekstra, producer and set design is by Valerie Zapolsky.
Admission is $15. Reserve seats online at www.rangeleyarts.org and click on the “Buy Tickets” tab, or visit the Box Office at the RFA Lakeside Theater, Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Box Office will also be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.on show days.
