OXFORD — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club held an Instant Match Game on Oct. 14. Winners were awarded gold points in this yearly, special game.

Finishing first N/S/ flight A were Pete Cummings and Dick Allen; second, Paul Clement and Roger Labbe, who also were first in flight B; third in A, Mike True and Mike Quinn; fourth, Eleanor and Lindy Wigton, who also were second in B; third in B, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr, who also were first in flight C; fourth in B, Della Starbird and Jim Dicken; second in C, Carolyn and David Ehrman; third were B.J. and Steve Cavicchi; and, fourth, Milt McKeen Jr. and Jim Krainin.

Finishing first in flight A E/W, Nancy Farmer and Barbara Newcomb; second, Norma and Rick Verrill, who also were first in flight B; third in A, Paul Kahl and Nick K.; fourth, Nancy Lindgren and Richard Balian; second in B, Claire Lyons and Dave Kallander; third, Cynthia and Bill Clifford Jr.; fourth, Barbara Vanderandan and Margie Levesque, who also were first in flight C; second in C, Elaine Dresser and Arlen Riis; third, Diana and Frank Ferland.

The club met for a Mitchell movement on Oct. 21. Finishing first in flight A N/S were Rosemarie Goodwin and Luke Merry; second, Milt McKeen Jr. and Les Buzzell; third, Cynthia and Bill Clifford Jr., who also were first in flight B; fourth in A, Hazel Glazier and Marta Clements; tied for second in B, Linda Smith and Jack Neal with Carolyn and David Ehrman, who also were tied for first in flight C; and, fourth in B, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr, who also were third in C.

Finishing first in flight A E/W were Neanie Kivus and Pat Quinn; second, Mike True and Mike Quinn; third, Diana and Frank Ferland, who also were first in flights B and C; fourth in A, Richard Balian and Misha Tomic ; second in B, Marjie Levesque and Karen Mac Neill, who also were second in flight C; third in B and C, B.J. and Steve Cavicchi; and, fourth in B and C, Jim Dickens and Dave Kallander.

The club met on Oct. 28 for a 7½ table Mitchell movement. Finishing first in flight A were Cynthia and Bill Clifford Jr., who also were first in flight B; second in A, Mike Quinn and Mike True; third, Hazel Glazier and Pete Cummings; fourth, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr, who also were second in flight B and first in flight C; third in B, Linda Smith and Jack Neal, who also were second in flight C; fourth in B, Milt McKeen Jr. and Jim Krainin, who also were third in flight C; and, fourth in C, B.J. and Steve Cavicchi.

Games are played at 9:15 a.m. on Fridays in the Recreation building on King Street. All bridge players are welcome, and a partner is always guaranteed.
