WINTHROP — The Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce is seeking participants for the annual Winthrop Holiday Parade, which has been a time-honored tradition for the last 31 years.

This year it’ll be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, with parade line-up at 2:30 p.m. at the top of Main Street.

Though the parade is in Winthrop, businesses, schools, and groups in the Chamber’s entire region including Wayne, Readfield, Manchester, Monmouth, Fayette and Mount Vernon are encouraged to take part.

Equestrian riding clubs and other groups with animals are welcome to participate along with musical groups playing live music. 

The deadline to sign up is Nov. 20.
