(Photo Caption) A big buddy/little buddy program is being initiated at Montello School, in which students “adopt” each other. Students in Jim Bazinet’s fourth-grade class and Jeanne Read’s first grade took the first step during a recent gathering in the school library. William Bechard, left, exchanged adoption certificates with Greg Letourneau. The buddies meet weekly and special activities are planned for each month throughout the school year.
