No trash collection on Thanksgiving
AUBURN — Trash and recycling will not be collected on Thursday, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day.
For citizens who normally have trash and recycling collected on Thursdays, the next trash and recycling collection will be Thursday, Dec. 1.
Lewiston Seniors cribbage winners
LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners Nov. 17 were, first place, Bob Allen and George Bussiere; second place, Joan Pettingill and Andrea Metayer; third place, Terry Lefebvre and Bob Cielinski; fourth place, Gene Brown and Celia Treworgy; and fifth place, Don Haley and Sandy Oliver.
The Seniors play on Thursdays at Lewiston Memorial Armory. There will not be a game on Thursday, Nov. 24.

United New Auburn Assoc. meeting
AUBURN — The United New Auburn Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Rolly’s Diner.
The topic of discussion will be the Christmas parade. The speaker will be announced.
Elks collect food bank donations
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Elks Lodge No. 371 recently delivered 76 pounds it collected from a food drive at its vendor/craft fair to the Good Shepherd Food Bank in Auburn.
