NORWAY — Deering Memorial United Methodist Church, Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church and the Norway Grange will offer free community breakfasts from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays at the Norway Grange Hall on Whitman Street.

This event is open to anyone hungry for a warm breakfast or who simply would enjoy a time of fellowship. There is no income eligibility required to enjoy a hot meal.

RUMFORD — There will be a benefit spaghetti supper for Ron Hemingway, who was diagnosed with mesothelioma, on Saturday, Dec. 17, at the American Legion, 24 Congress St.

Dinner will be served from 4 to 6:30 p.m. There will also be raffles starting at 1 p.m. and a dance from 7 to 11 p.m.

Cost: $7 for the dinner; $10 for the dance; $15 for dinner and dance.

OXFORD — The Oxford Advent Christian Church will host a free public supper with several kinds of chowder at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the church on Route 26.

The supper will be followed by a Christmas program of carols and the Nativity story in the sanctuary.
