Last year’s results: Boys won the MVC championship and placed fifth at the state championships. Girls finished fourth at MVCs and eighth at states.
Returning athletes: Boys: Seniors — Xavier Romanoski, Tiernan Tooker; Juniors — Reed Stevens, Tor Tooker; Sophomores — Dylan Starbird, Brandon Hemingway, Dillon Wells, David Kidd, Levi Bouchard. Girls: Seniors — Risa Marble, Destiny Thorndike; Junior — Katrina Maxsimic; Sophomore — Alice Cockerham.
Promising newcomers: Boys: Freshmen — Harrison Walters, Chandler Rollins.
Season Outlook: The Roadrunners hope to improve on last year’s finishes at both MVC and state championships. They placed several skiers on the U16 and EHSC state teams last season. Xavier Romanoski will once again set the pace for the boys’ team. The senior will be looked to for leadership and as a target for the rest of the boys to shoot for. Seniors Risa Marble and Destiny Thorndike will be relied on for leadership for the girls.
