LEWISTON — Tanya Vanesse, a computer technician for the Auburn School Department, will present “My Fear Factor Live Reality TV Experience” at the Lewiston-Auburn Senior College’s Food for Thought session Friday, March 10.
She will discuss her appearance in the studio version of Fear Factor Live at Universal Studios, in which daily theme park guests become contestants in various stunts inspired by the television show.
The 38-year-old mother won the competition that day. She will discuss her thoughts as she participated in The Endurance Hang, The Walk of Shame, Swinging Pendulum Octopus Throw and The Stuntman’s Challenge.
Vanesse earned a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral science from the University of Southern Maine in 2014.
The program is open to the public and will be held in Function Room 170 at University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster St. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at noon. The cost, which includes lunch, is $7 with an advance reservation or $8 at the door.
Advanced reservations must be made by noon on Wednesday, March 8. Reservations received after this date and time will be full price.
