MONDAY, April 3

AUBURN — City Council workshop and meeting, Auburn Hall. Agenda for the 5:30 p.m. workshop includes discussion on the Capital Improvement Plan and Taylor Pond Project. Regular meeting agenda includes a second reading for a zoning change for Gowell’s Variety on Hampshire Street, and directing city staff to consult with the Planning Board to increase flexibility of uses allowed in the agricultural and resource protection district.

TUESDAY, April 4

LEWISTON — City Council budget workshop and meeting at City Hall. Agenda for the 5:30 p.m. budget workshop includes discussion on city buildings, and the Planning & Code Enforcement Department. Regular meeting agenda includes a public hearing for the fiscal 2017-18 budget, transferring a section of Franklin Pasture to the Maine Department of Transportation for the new high school project, and a related wetland protection order.

AUBURN — 14th Annual Community Job Fair, 10 a.m. to noon, Central Maine Community College, Turner Street. Extensive list of employers looking to hire in the fields of banking and finance, social service agencies, schools and colleges, staffing centers, health care, retail stores and more.

SATURDAY, April 8
