First Auburn Seniors to meet
AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, for a regular meeting, lasagna dinner and bingo.
Tickets for the May 5 anniversary party at Martindale Country Club will be available; they are free, but sign-up is required.
Cookbooks will be for sale for $10 each. Seniors may purchase them from Belinda Gerry or Jan Biron.
There were 58 members present at the last meeting, and seven new members were welcomed.
Attendance winners were Donna Brown and Lucille Dick; Pot of Gold, Ann Watson, Madge Gardner and Cecilia Umbro, and, 50/50, Irene Fraser, Leroy Walker and Lucy Cowles.
Pickwick Club reading ‘Barnaby Rudge’
AUBURN — The Pickwick Club, Maine’s Charles Dickens (and other authors) reading and discussion group, will meet at the Auburn Public Library on Saturday, April 22, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
This month’s selection will be Chapters 1 to 36 of “Barnaby Rudge.” Dick York will moderate.

Vendors sought for Spring Fling
LEWISTON — Loaves and Fishes’ Spring Fling vendor fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at 855 Lisbon St. behind Staples at the bingo hall.
Admission will be free, and the sale will feature, crafts, jewelry, pastries and other items. Refreshments will be available.
Chinese auction April 22
NORWAY — Christ Episcopal Church will hold a Chinese auction Saturday, April 22, at 35 Paris St. Doors will open at 10 a.m., and the auction will start at noon.
There will be more than 300 items to bid on, along with a 50/50, a dollar table, and refreshments.
