LEWISTON — Fleurange “Flo” U. Anctil, 97, of 61 Jefferson Street, Lewiston, died Monday, April 10, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.
Born in Lewiston on Feb. 20, 1920, she was the daughter of Donat and Alphonsine Lajoie Denis. She was educated in local schools and worked for many years in the textile industry, including 25 years at the Continental Mill. Flo was a member of Lewiston Senior Citizens, and formerly was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post No. 153.
Survivors include a son, three grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son and 15 brothers and sisters.
