BOSTON, Mass. — The Central Maine Cyclones girls’ eighth grade AAU basketball team out of Lewiston, took home the championship of the Queen of Boston/Battle at the Border Tournament at Boston University with an impressive 53-25 victory over EVO-MS out of Massachusetts. In their three prior victories leading to the title tilt, the Cyclones outscored their opponents 140-58. The tournament victory qualifies them for the Zero Gravity Nationals in Massachusetts on June 3-4.
