Earth Day Drumming Circle

Nine women, including, from left, Deborah Koliche, Irene Haynes and Andrea Gurney, fueled the energy of a drumming circle on Saturday, as part of Earth Day workshops at the Good Karma Cafe and Health Foods in Rumford. Drummer Mitzi Sequoia of Rumford said when drumming circles take place, “it’s really designed to be in tune to the gifts that the Creator, God, Jesus, Buddha and others have given to all. So, we take care of the land and the land, in turn, takes care of you.”
