RUMFORD — Funeral services for David Swett of East Dixfield were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., P.O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276 with the Rev. Bruce Rollins officiating. Music selections included “Simple Man” and “My Old Man.” Special music performed live, the song “Heart of Gold,” was sung by guitarist Allan Swett. The eulogy was presented by Harry Smith. A reception was held following the services at the home of Phil and Carol Hotham in Mexico. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
