JAY — Voters will consider revised Town Government and Sewer Department budgets at the polls next week.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Community Building.
The two articles failed by a wide margin at the annual referendum April 25.
The Sewer Department was reduced by $5,313 to $526,300, and the Town Government budget was reduced by $4,500 to $459,265.
The two articles are part of a proposed $6 million budget, without factoring in revenues, that includes a $1.33 million payment to Verso Androscoggin LLC for the second payment of a $4 million tax dispute settlement.
