LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is offering its next HR Thursdays: Human Resources Seminar Series on Thursday, Oct. 26.
The subject is Workplace Safety — How Can Safety Improve Your Recruitment and Retention Efforts. It will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way.
Presenter Steven Greeley of the Maine Department of Labor will explore workplace culture, voluntary protection programs and employee involvement as they pertain to workplace safety and the impact they can have on recruitment and retention efforts.
HR Thursdays are a partnership of the chamber, Central Maine Human Resource Association and the Lewiston CareerCenter.
