Geiger Elementary School of Lewiston participated in a fundraiser this winter and spring to raise money for the American Heart Association, and also to better understand the link between exercise and their health. As a whole, the school raised $2,000. Tessa Blais, a fourth-grader in Jennifer Groover’s class, was the top fundraiser with $255.
