FARMINGTON — A Phillips man has been ordered to serve the four remaining years of a suspended eight-year sentence related to a burglary and theft of firearms when he lived in Lisbon in 2010.

Michael R. Harriman, 27, admitted Monday in Franklin County Superior Court to violating his probation Sept. 1, 2017. Harriman had been ordered in 2010 to serve two years of an eight-year sentence, followed by three years of probation. However, he was on probation from a previous firearm theft conviction when arrested in April 2010 on the new charges.

Harriman also pleaded not guilty Monday to sexually assaulting a child under age 14 between Jan. 19, 2015, and Jan. 19, 2017. He also entered not guilty pleas to a felony charge of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor charge of incest in the same case. He was indicted on the charges on Jan. 18.

Harriman had previously pleaded not guilty on Nov. 28 to a Nov. 1, 2017, indictment charging two counts of felony gross sexual assault against two other children under age 14. The violation occurred on Sept. 1, 2017, according to an indictment report.

Harriman had been held on $15,000 cash bail at the Franklin County jail after he was arrested on the Sept. 1 sexual assault charges and was being held without bail on the Androscoggin County probation violation.
