New Auburn Seniors ‘vacation’
AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens will not hold functions in February. Meetings, dinners and Off-Monday Bingo will resume in March.
OES chapter to honor two stations
AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St. The chapter will honor the stations of the secretary and treasurer.
The meeting will be preceded by a potluck supper at 6 p.m. All Eastern Star members are welcome.
Republicans to celebrate Lincoln’s birthday
LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Republicans will celebrate the birthday of the first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, at the Gendron Franco Center on Friday, Feb. 16.
The featured speakers will be Gov. Paul LePage, Congressman Bruce Poliquin and gubernatorial candidates. Beginning at 5 p.m. there will be a reception, a dinner and program, including an auction. The evening festivities will end at 9:30 p.m.
