FARMINGTON — Everyone’s Resource Depot (ERD) invites children and adults to “make your valentines with us” at workshops from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 8 and 9, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 12, 13 and 14, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 10.
Those who attend will be able to choose from a wide variety of materials, such as yarn and ribbon, card stock and red envelopes, glitter and sequins, odd bits of lace and trim and pretty papers. Many sample valentines and projects will be on display to help stimulate creativity. All ages are welcome.
ERD is located in Room 9, Education Center, UMF, corner of High and Lincoln streets. It is open to the public during regular business hours: 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
ERD’s programs are offered to the public to create awareness of the fun involved in reusing scrap materials. ERD has been promoting creative recycling for over 30 years.
