LEWISTON — Berman & Simmons recognizes the national leadership of one of its attorneys, Daniel Kagan, as he celebrates his 20th year as a governor for the American Association for Justice, the pre-eminent national organization for trial lawyers.
Kagan is a native of Bangor who works at Berman & Simmons’ main office in Lewiston. A past president of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, he was appointed to the association’s national governing board in 1998.
He joined Berman & Simmons in 1989 and leads a Maine delegation to the association, including Michael Bigos and Susan Faunce, also of Berman & Simmons?.
“It is such an honor to serve the cause of civil justice through AAJ leadership,” Kagan said. “I have seen firsthand that Maine’s trial lawyers are among the country’s best, advocating with wisdom, dedication and compassion. I look forward to continuing the fight to ensure access to justice, statewide and nationwide.”
