AUBURN — Conservation Commission meeting, 6 p.m. in the executive conference room at Auburn Hall. 


LEWISTON — Joint meeting between the Lewiston and Auburn city councils, 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Lewiston City Hall. Agenda includes a discussion on regional tourism initiatives and radio upgrades for the L-A 911. 

AUBURN — “The Rise of Fake News,” program by Kelly-Romano, Bates College associate professor of rhetoric, 6 to 7 p.m., Auburn Public Library, public welcome. The Auburn library is one of five public libraries in the country selected for the Media Literacy at Your Library project. The goal is to help adult patrons become more critical news consumers. Sponsored by the American Library Association, the Center for News Literacy at Stony Brook University.

AUBURN — Annual indoor farmers’ market, one of Auburn Public Library’s biggest family events of the year, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Vendors with culinary delights, live music, crafts, exhibits, free to the public.
