AUBURN — “The Rise of Fake News,” program by Kelly-Romano, Bates College associate professor of rhetoric, 6 to 7 p.m., Auburn Public Library, public welcome. The Auburn library is one of five public libraries in the country selected for the Media Literacy at Your Library project. The goal is to help adult patrons become more critical news consumers. Sponsored by the American Library Association, the Center for News Literacy at Stony Brook University.
