Eagle Scout project bottle drive

AUBURN — Boy Scout Troop 121 of Auburn will hold a bottle drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, to raise money for the Eagle Scout Project of their fellow Scout, Kyle Mansur.

Mansur’s project is renovating the Walton School/New Auburn Basketball Court. To donate cans and bottles or make a donation, call Debby Mansur at 207-777-3843.

Dumpster Diving Divas to make return

LISBON FALLS — The Dumpster Diving Divas will be back at the Lisbon Transfer Station from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17. The PWS PAG will collect Box Tops for Education to benefit students at the Philip W. Sugg Middle School and will sell raffle tickets for the spring fundraiser.

Lisbon residents visiting the transfer station that day can bring their box tops for donation. In addition, the Divas and their helpers will assist with the mixed paper recycling to retrieve box tops that may not have been clipped.

Paint benefit for rehabilitation program

AUBURN — A paint night fundraiser to benefit An Angel’s Wing, an addiction rehabilitation program, will take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at at the VFW Post 1303 Hall, 588 Minot Ave.

There will be snacks served, a cash bar and music. No experience is necessary, all supplies will be provided. The cost is $35, and the painting will be spring themed.

This event was originally scheduled for Jan. 13 and postponed due to weather.
