FARMINGTON — Trinity United Methodist Church will serve a baked bean supper with homemade pies from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at 612 Farmington Falls Road.

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12.

GRAY — American Legion Auxilary Post 86 will serve a public baked bean and casserole supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at 15 Lewiston Road.

Pies will be the featured dessert. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12.

HARRISON — United Parish Congregational Church of Harrison & North Bridgton will serve a buffet breakfast during Harrison Old Home Days on Saturday, July 7.

The breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at 77 Main St. across from Crystal Lake Park. There is no set price for the breakfast, but donations will be accepted.

At the same time, the Patchwork Piecemakers will have a display of children’s quilts upstairs in the sanctuary. The Piecemakers gather Wednesday mornings at the church to work on the quilts, which are given to patients at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

There is no charge to see the quilts, but any donations will help the Piecemakers purchase supplies to make more quilts.

JAY — North Jay Grange No. 10 will serve a public supper and have music from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 7. 

Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children 10 and younger.

MEXICO — The Mexico Congregational Church, UCC, will serve its fourth annual community barbecue picnic from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at 163 Main St.

There will be crafters and lawn sale vendors, free games for “kids of all ages” with prizes awarded, coffee and homemade cinnamon buns, and a hot dog lunch at noon. Supper will be served under the big tent and will feature a choice of barbequed pulled pork or chicken, baked beans and homemade pies for dessert.

Many valuable items donated by businesses will be auctioned following the supper. Everyone is invited to enjoy a day of food and fun at the green church.

SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will hold a beanhole bean public supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at 50 Main Street, Route 219.

Cost is $8 per person, $3 for children younger than 12, free for kids 5 and younger and $22 maximum for a family.

The next beanhole suppers will be Aug. 4 and Sept. 8.

There will be raffle. Proceeds benefit the outreach missions of the church.

LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus is offering dining site designed to cater to the Somali community in the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center at 208 Bates St.

NORWAY — Oxford Hills Area Association of Churches will serve the Norway Community Free Lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Universalist Church, 479 Main St.

Anyone can eat a nutritious meal, no questions asked.

WILTON — The Wilton United Methodist Church will serve a lasagna and casserole public benefit supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, in the fellowship dining hall, 600 Main St

All proceeds will benefit the Wilton United Methodist Church Organ Repair Fund. Dinners will be $8 per person for adults and $5 for children younger than 10. Take out meals will be available.
