ISLAND FALLS — Seth Adam Gosselin, 35, passed away after a cardiac event took his life while he peacefully slept early Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was 35 years old.
Seth was born in Waterville, Maine, and raised in the Fairfield area, graduating from Lawrence High School as president of the Class of 2001. He traveled throughout his 20s, living for some time in both Delaware and Lincoln, NH. Ultimately, he made his home in Auburn with his wife and daughter, whom he worshiped, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of their second child. Seth built a full and happy life for himself, running his own business with his best friend and spending his free time with the people he loved, doing the things that mattered most to him. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and snow sledding (BRAAAAAAAP). He was also an accomplished hiker, completing 44 of New Hampshire’s 48 4,000-footers. Seth loved to spend time with his friends and family, enjoying good food and craft beer (good craft beer), and listening to Highwaymen Pandora Radio Station. He lived for a good debate, and was passionate about proving others wrong. Above all else, Seth was a loving man who lived life to the fullest.
Seth is survived by his beloved mother and step-father Alyssa and Jason Tarr; honored father and step-mother Jean and Debbie Gosselin; his best friend and devoted wife, Erica (Gallant) Gosselin; his two children: cherished daughter, Eden, and Baby Gosselin, due in November; best dog friend, Leroy; five siblings: beloved sister, Chelsea (Gosselin), and her husband, Matt Vierra; adoring brother, Wyatt Tarr; stepsister Jessica Pooler; stepbrother, Chris Pooler, and fiancee, Courtney; and stepsister Sarah (Pooler) and husband, Zack Lemieux; two cousins by blood but siblings by heart Zack Furbush and Jasmine Weeden and their spouses; and many other beloved cousins and aunts and uncles. In addition to family, Seth will be remembered and greatly missed by two of his closest friends Adam Miller and Kyle Reardon, and countless others from both Maine and New Hampshire.
