BRYANT POND — Services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:30 a.m. and evening service at 6 p.m. Midweek service is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Thursday, Aug. 30, at 5;30 p.m. is James 1:27 ministry and Men’s Bible Study. On Friday, Aug. 17 and 31, there will be services at 10 a.m. at Ledgeview.
The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens met at Clyde and Norma Knight’s home on Thursday, Aug. 2. A delicious picnic was held. The next meeting will be at the Masonic Hall with the Star Birthday Club putting on the dinner.
Marybeth, Ray, Samantha and Gabe called on me one day and Gabe stayed with me while his mother took Samantha to the doctor’s.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Francis Bean.
