LIVERMORE FALLS — Maine’s Paper and Heritage Museum will have its Papermaker Reunion and offer celebration tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at 22 Church St.

Outdoor campfire stories at Valentine Farm

BETHEL — Mahoosuc Land Trust and Mahoosuc Heart & Soul will serve breakfast to the community and offer participants the opportunity to tell a personal 10-minute story about things that happen when people venture into the woods.

“Trails, Tales, and a Bit o’ Truth” will take place at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Valentine Farm, 162 North Road. Mac Davis and John White will serve eggs, bacon and coffee prepared over a campfire.

Parishes hold Friendship Day 

OTISFIELD — The 10th annual Friendship Day will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Community of the Resurrection at 205 Poplar Ridge Road off Route 121.

Participating churches include St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish of Norway, Our Lady of Ransom Church in Mechanic Falls, St. Mary Church in Oxford, St. Joseph Parish in Bridgton and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Fryeburg.

The day will feature an outdoor Mass under the big tent at 11 a.m., followed by a picnic lunch. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be grilled by the Knights of Columbus, and all are invited to bring side dishes and desserts to share. After the meal, there will be time for relaxing with friends, games for all ages and a free raffle.

Legion cancels Saturday supper

LIVERMORE FALLS — The supper scheduled for 4:30 to Saturday, Aug. 18, at George Bunten American Legion Post 10 has been cancelled.

The next supper at the post will be 4:30 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15. For more information, call 897-5676.
