LISBON FALLS — Philip and Bernice (Bunny) Berry of Lisbon Falls recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary and her 90th birthday.
The celebration was held at a dinner party with their family and their close friend, Pat Janosco, at the home of the couple’s daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Richard Plummer of Lisbon Falls. Amid fall decorations were an anniversary and a birthday cake.
Philip Berry and the former Bernice Karkos were married Oct. 23, 1948, at Saint Cyril and Methodist Church in Lisbon Falls. This past summer, the couple renewed their wedding vows, along with other couples, at a special anniversary ceremony at Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls.
The couple has two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Richard Plummer and Sherry and Charles Gurney. They have four grandchildren: Aaron Plummer and wife, Amanda, and son Kane; Nicole Clark and husband, John; Molly Robitaille and husband, Jeffrey; and Christian Gurney and wife, Sarah.
They have six great-grandchildren: Gavin and Carter Robitaille, twins Emma and Brynn Gurney, and Alivia and Miranda Clark.
They have lived in Lisbon Falls all of their married life.
