BANGOR — The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation recently made $215,450 in grants to 18 nonprofit organizations based in Maine and New Hampshire.

The Foundation awards grants, ranging from $2,000 to $25,000, four times a year to nonprofits with worthy initiatives that make communities in Maine and New Hampshire more prosperous, more livable, and more vibrant.

For the western Maine area, The Trust for Public Land in Bethel was a recipient.
