MEXICO and BANGOR – Alice F. Conners, 93, died Dec. 26, 2018, in Rumford, after a period of declining health. She was born in Dec. 27, 1924, in Bangor the daughter of Justin and Eva (Pelkey) Conners.
Alice grew up in Bangor and served as a Sister of Mercy for many years and also taught school in Peru for many years residing in Mexico, Maine. She is survived by friends in western Maine and in the Bangor area.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ohio St., Bangor. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor. Arrangements trusted to Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
