The Swift River overflowed its banks Sunday, flooding the Hosmer Field Complex, above, in Rumford and Carlton Avenue in Mexico. The flooding came at an especially bad time for the Mountain Valley softball and baseball teams, which had scheduled their home openers with Winthrop for Monday.
