Jean M. Deane

AUBURN – Jean M. Deane, of Buckfield, went to her Lord on March 7, 2021.

Jean was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Wilfred J. Deane, Sr. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Virginia; and grandson, Travis.

Jean leaves behind her son, Will and his wife Teresa of Buckfield, daughter, Sharon and her husband Randy of Ft. Worth, Texas; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick on March 3, 1935. She moved to Maine with her family as a child. She married Wilfred in 1950 and together they raised their three children. Jean was a homemaker for most of her life, working during the potato harvest many years.

She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church and active with the Ladies of St. Anne. She was an active member of the Limestone Assemblies of God prior to her move to Buckfield. Jean became a member of the Buckfield Community Church when she moved to Buckfield. She was a very active member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary with the VFW in Ft. Fairfield.

Jean’s faith and devotion to her Savior sustained her throughout her years with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Her family would like to thank everyone at Clover Manor in Auburn for the past years of care, compassion and friendship to her and her family.

Jean and Wilfred will be interred together in the St. Louis Cemetery in Limestone at a later date.
