LIVERMORE — Police identified an 18-year-old man as the victim in Saturday morning’s fatal crash on River Road.
Jordan Blais, 18, of Livermore died Saturday when the 2006 Ford Focus he was driving northbound on River Road, left the pavement and collided with a tree, according to a Sunday morning statement from the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office. Speed was identified as a factor and the crash remains under investigation, according to the statement.
The crash was reported at 5:34 a.m. Crews from the Livermore and Livermore Falls fire departments responded.
A crash reconstructionist from the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the investigation. As in all fatal crashes, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner and District Attorney’s Office was notified as well.
