This is a rebuttal to a recent letter (Richard Charloff, “More Republicans need to get vaccinated,” July 22) stating that only Republicans are refusing COVID vaccinations.

The first mistake was thinking it’s only Republicans who are to blame for non-vaccinations. The fact is, who they should be blaming are Dr. Anthony Fauci and experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for changing their minds all the time. First they say there’s no need to wear a mask, and then do a complete reversal, saying to wear two or three.

I am sorry, but I am not getting the so-called booster shot coming out also. I have had COVID-19, plus I got two shots. In retrospect I may not have had to get the shots anyway. Once you get COVID-19 it may be better than the shots anyway, according to some doctors. The antibodies are much better to fight it off again.

Last but not least, we were told there is no need for kids in the fall to wear masks, and now it’s a complete reversal. They are now thinking everyone should wear a mask inside, even vaccinated people.

People should blame this all on the so-called experts. So this is not just one affiliation, everyone is very weary about the shots.
