On Nov. 2, I hope Ward 6 voters will join me and elect Meghan Hird as their Lewiston School Committee representative.
Meghan has two young children, one in school, so like all parents she wants them to get the best education possible. Meghan is also aware of the many fixed-income individuals living in Lewiston who cannot afford continued tax hikes.
She also does not subscribe to academic and woke theories on how to improve our children’s education. Her policies would not be based on the latest Bates College academic theories, but the knowledge she gains firsthand.
I ask residents to join me and vote for Meghan Hird on Nov. 2.
