I write in support of Carl Sheline for mayor of Lewiston.
At a time of ongoing political polarization that is slowly seeping into local politics, Carl is not interested in public office to engage in political battles. Instead he wants to focus on creating a positive environment and image for the community, while supporting local businesses.
Carl would be a good listener who seeks advice from the people of Lewiston and from the men and women who work for the city. He would be a practical leader who will combine future aspirations for Lewiston with the pragmatism necessary to govern in the here and now.
Carl has many years of experience as a manager which he would put to good use as mayor, and just as important, he has a good heart and a positive attitude that I know he would bring to work every day.
