Robert Butterfield IV of Phillips, a member of Boy Scout Troop 500 in Strong, recently built and donated a wheelchair-accessible picnic table to Shadagee Apartments in Phillips.
He has two more badges to complete before he can obtain his Eagle Rank, but his Eagle project is now complete, according to a news release from Sheila Butterfield.
Unexpected and totally separate from his project, Butterfield is in a wheelchair because he recently underwent major knee surgery.
Butterfield, who attends Mt. Abram High School in Strong, will be an incoming sophomore. He is the son of Zeke and Sheila Butterfield.
