In the current world of partisan bickering, it is refreshing to see a congressman like Jared Golden. His calm demeanor and thoughtful approach in representing Maine’s District 2 is something we need more of in Washington.
Even though I may disagree with some of his votes, I certainly appreciate the time he takes in explaining clearly how and why he comes to a given position on the many complicated issues facing our country. I also appreciate that he has the courage of his convictions, even if it disappoints party leaders.
Because Jared Golden is fiercely independent, he is ranked as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress. Independence and bipartisanship have long been hallmarks of Maine’s most respected office holders, and Jared Golden is continuing that tradition.
He definitely deserves to be re-elected in November. I hope people join me in voting for him.
