I am so pleased that Tamara Hoke is running to become the state representative for Jay, Livermore Falls and part of Livermore.
Tammy has spent her whole life here — she literally wrote the book on Jay — and she has always put her energy into helping others.
A state representative’s job goes well beyond crafting and voting on bills; helping people find information and navigate state government in order to solve problems is central to the job.
With deep roots in the community, a background in social work, and many years of experience running the library, Tamara is uniquely qualified to be our state representative.
I hope people will join me in voting for Tamara this November.
