Margaret Rotundo has an outstanding record of service in the Maine Legislature, demonstrating compassionate commitment to enhancing Mainers’ lives.
She stands for election in Senate District 21.
Among her many accomplishments are significant efforts on behalf of the Maine environment. She sponsored legislation to upgrade the classification level of the Androscoggin River and was a driving force behind the creation of Androscoggin Riverlands State Park.
A recipient of the Bonnie Lounsbury Award from the Androscoggin Land Trust, she has long been recognized by the League of Conservation Voters as a strong environmental advocate.
Our health and our economy depend on clean air, clean water, and a response to climate change. I trust Margaret to be steadfast in her devotion to these issues, and I hope voters will join me in electing her.
