As a Lewiston resident, I wholeheartedly support Peggy Rotundo’s candidacy for Maine Senate from District 21.
Peggy is a compassionate listener and skillful consensus builder who knows how to solve problems.
I am most grateful for her consistent attention to the economic needs of those who struggle most, especially older Mainers and those who are differently abled. That includes a determined focus on lowering health care and prescription drug costs.
Both locally and beyond, she has also demonstrated a commitment to quality public education for our children, and is a stalwart champion for care of our environment.
For 16 years, Peggy effectively and competently represented us as senator and representative. Because of that, she is widely known and respected and can be depended upon to show up, care, and be a tireless advocate.
I will vote to return her to Augusta as our senator.
